The Village Times website went live on December 12th 2011 with an aim to provide up to date news and information about Brewood, Coven and Bishops Wood. The basic idea is to provide a platform for villagers, local organisations and businesses to interact and share information. As well as up to date news there’s a gallery where people can send in their pics to be published, what’s on calendar, business directory  and even an online forum for villagers to talk about………..well anything!

We want to hear from all the groups that exist in the Parish on what they’re up to, maybe invite others to get involved and make the most of everything our beautiful villages have to offer.

We’re also passionate about sport, particularly cricket, and we’ll be looking to keep the parish well informed on what’s happening with Brewood CC this year. It would be great to think that through making people aware of what we hope will be a great season for the club, we might just encourage a few more to take a leisurely stroll down Four Ashes Road to enjoy a little leather on willow under fine summer skies with a cool refreshing drink from the pavillion bar!

But ultimately we need your help to keep the website dynamic and up to date.
